and Piha beaches, it is an ideal get away from the city. If you are
from overseas then relax after your long flight before setting off
to see the rest of New Zealand or reflect on your visit before the
trip home. If you are walking the recently opened Hillary Trail then Lone Kauri Lodge is an alternative accommodation option at the end of day 2.
